Kia Tops JD Power's Annual Initial Quality Study

For the first time in 27 years, a nonpremium brand has topped JD Power's Initial Quality Study, and that brand is Kia. Kia overtook Porsche to lead the industry in the annual report card on vehicle quality within the first 90 days of ownership with only 83 reported problems. This marks the best score Kia has ever received, and elevates them into first place from second place last year and 18th place in 2012. This ascent into the limelight is a testament to the engineering nature of Kia motors and their unwavering collaboration with consumers and what they want most in a new vehicle.
