The 2023 model year is set to add many new features, especially to its overall look. There is a new exterior style, and it also has an array of new features. One such option for those that are plug-in hybrids is Green Zone. This will be standard and use the navigation system and data to put the Niro into electric vehicle mode when driving through neighborhoods, schools, hospitals, and frequent short routes like around your home or office.

2023 Kia Niro Trim Levels

There are five different options available in the new 2023 Kia Niro lineup, and they are:

• 2023 Kia Niro LX: this comes with lots of standard safety features like automatic emergency braking, blind spot detection, and lane following assist as well as dual-zone climate control and rear privacy glass

With the Niro Plug-In Hybrid, it gives you a gas-electric combination and a limited all-electric driving range. This nets you 180 total horsepower, as well as 33 miles of all-electric driving before needing to recharge either at home with a standard 110-volt or higher outlet, at a public charging station, or over time through braking. It also gives you 108 miles per gallon electric equivalent too.

Interior, Technology and Safety

Inside the new Kia Niro, you're going to find seating for five, and a cargo area in the rear. The back seats can be folded down and provide more space where needed, while certain trims have different seating materials, and can offer an upscale feel.

With technology, you'll find a standard eight-inch display on the base option, while all other 2023 Kia Niro vehicles have a 10.25-inch touch display with Kia UVO infotainment which allows for connectivity to Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® wirelessly. You can also find a wireless smartphone charging pad, and an available stereo system as well.
